Many job seekers think finding a new job is just a matter of downloading a posting , forwarding a resume, and waiting for the phone to ring for that one interview. yes that one interview with all the job seekers eggs in that one basket. The magic wand syndrome in which the job seeker literally believes he or she surely will get an interview as opposed to the other thousands of applicants vying for the same position.
Its not going to happen. First of all, not only does the job seeker require a fine tuned resume , cover letter explicit to each job applied for and impeccable interview skills, but most importantly the mind set that puts him or her in the driver seat.
